These schedule changes will be in effect until further notice. The end date for the extended day schedule and/or the necessity for additional make-up days may be dictated by other inclement weather circumstances or by pending decisions by the state regarding requests for a waiver of make-up requirements.
Bus route schedules will be adjusted to reflect these changes. Students should be at their stops 10 minutes earlier than previously scheduled and afternoon drop off times will be 10 minutes later.
The changes to the calendar are as follows:
- Friday, February 26—no early release for elementary students, full instructional day
- Tuesday, March 23—no early release for elementary students, full instructional day
- Friday, April 2—no early release for all students, full instructional day
- Monday, April 19—teacher work day becomes a full instructional day
- Friday May 28—no early release for all students, full instructional day
Beginning Monday, March 8, twenty minutes will be added to the school day.
School will begin 10 minutes earlier and end 10 minutes later. Elementary schools will start at 8:50 a.m. and end at 3:40 p.m.; middle schools will start at 8:10 a.m. and end at 3:00 p.m.; high schools will start at 7:30 a.m. and end at 2:25 p.m.
